Description
The South Yakima Conservation District is hiring a full-time Resource Conservation Planner or Technician to provide one-on-one technical assistance to private landowners and other participants, develop conservation and farm plans, implement best management practices, lead field activities, and conduct education and outreach. The role is based in Zillah, Washington, with indoor field-office work and fieldwork within the district, including occasional travel. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree, a background in natural resource sciences or related agricultural and conservation fields, U.S. work authorization, a Washington driver’s license, and strong communication and collaboration skills. The position pays $3,400–$5,400 per month and includes medical insurance premium stipend, paid overtime, holidays, leave, and a 403(b) retirement program.
