ERCOT is hiring a Power System Engineer to analyze wind and solar forecasts, develop forecasting and machine-learning methodologies, assess grid variability, and support reliable electric power-system operations and planning. The role includes system modeling, studies, tool development, and technical support for grid operations, and may involve mentoring junior engineers. It is based in Taylor, Texas, with at least two days per week on-site and remote work from a Texas residence, and offers a hybrid arrangement.
