Description
The Respiratory Therapist RT I provides respiratory assessment, therapeutic treatment, evaluation, testing, education, and communication for all patient populations. The role coordinates care with interdisciplinary teams, maintains compliance with Ohio respiratory care laws and applicable standards, and requires an associate degree in respiratory care or an NBRC-approved registry, a valid Ohio Respiratory Care License, a Registered Respiratory Therapist credential, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
