Description
The Respiratory Care Practitioner performs routine respiratory care, resuscitation, ventilator care, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, EKGs, quality control and maintenance of analyzers, oxygen rounds, and training. The role requires graduation from a Respiratory Therapist Program, a valid Ohio Registered Care Practitioner License, a valid Ohio Registered Respiratory Care License, current BLS certification, and six months of clinical experience, with critical care experience preferred. The practitioner must analyze and prioritize patient needs, communicate effectively, and accept, transcribe, and implement physician orders within their scope of care.
