Description
The Respiratory Therapy Assistant provides therapy and treatment procedures for patients with pulmonary disease in an inpatient setting, including airway assessment, monitoring, documentation, equipment management, and respiratory therapy procedures such as suctioning, airway clearance, and hyperinflation therapy. The role is intended for first- or second-year students in an approved and accredited Respiratory Care Program or newly graduated students awaiting credentials, with supervision as needed. It reports to the Respiratory Manager and pays $27.00 USD per hour.
