Description
The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care under the supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Therapist, including prescribed medical gases and aerosolized drugs, oxygen therapy, blood gas analysis, respiratory equipment maintenance, therapeutic treatment administration, patient care rounds, patient transport, and patient education. The role requires completion of an AMA/CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program or an alternative qualifying education and experience pathway, plus BLS certification.
