Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides basic and critical respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients, including aerosol and oxygen therapy, arterial blood gas analysis, ventilator care, respiratory rehabilitation, equipment maintenance, documentation, and support for physicians and nursing staff. The role requires graduation from an approved Respiratory Therapy Program, a Respiratory Care Practitioner license, and several life-support certifications; NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credentials are preferred. The position is represented by SEIU and is subject to Adventist Health’s vaccination and E-Verify requirements.
