Description
The Respiratory Therapist role provides adult and geriatric critical care respiratory therapy, including extubation, airway management, suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, medication administration, oxygen and BiPAP/CPAP therapy, and mechanical ventilation weaning. The position requires two years of experience, an active RRT SC, ACLS and BLS certifications, trauma Level 1 experience, and one year of EPIC experience. It follows a 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m. shift with every-other weekend requirements and may require floating to other units or campuses.
