Description
The Certified Respiratory Therapist provides PRN day, evening, and night respiratory care to acute and cardiac-ill patients, including admission, inpatient, and discharge assessments; respiratory care planning; treatment delivery; education; emergency response; equipment maintenance; documentation; and mentoring. The role requires an associate degree from an AMA-accredited respiratory therapy program, Certified Respiratory Therapist certification, Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure, and current CPR, NRP, ACLS, and STABLE certifications. Previous acute-care respiratory experience is preferred, and the schedule requires a minimum of 24 hours off per six-week schedule.
