Description
Northwest Community Partners, working in collaboration with a county Department of Human Services, is hiring part-time respite providers for Portage County Respite. The role involves caring for children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or mental health issues in the child's home or community, giving parents and guardians a break while supporting mentoring and daily living skills services. Candidates should have relevant education or experience with children, mental health, autism, DD/SED populations, strong communication and crisis-response skills, confidentiality, and access to an insured vehicle with a valid driver’s license for transporting clients as needed.
