Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking a part-time Respite Provider to provide one-on-one supervision, companionship, and support for a young boy in the Eau Claire, Wisconsin area. Care may occur in the provider’s home or the community, with scheduled weekday evenings or weekends and an authorized six hours per week. The role includes managing anger outbursts, promoting self-regulation and coping skills, supporting transitions and new routines, and deescalating heightened behaviors. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a background check are required; prior caregiving, childcare, or respite experience is preferred but not required. The position pays $14.13 per hour with mileage reimbursement while the child is in the vehicle.
