Description
The Fiber Optic Cable Production Operator supports the production of fiber optic cable by selecting, respooling, stripping, cutting, printing, and dashing cable; inspecting finished product; documenting work; and assisting with production problems. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, tool and measuring-device skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. It is a 33-hour-per-week position scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday, with some schedule flexibility and overtime availability, and includes full-time benefits.
