J.Jill is hiring a Sales Audit & Sales Tax Associate to support retail accounting and sales tax operations. The role reconciles store bank accounts, cash, credit card receivables, and discrepancies; prepares journal entries and monthly sales and use tax filings; handles tax notices, assessments, and audits; coordinates financial setup for new stores; and provides accounting support to stores and internal partners. Candidates should have 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably an associate degree in accounting or finance, Microsoft Office proficiency with strong Excel skills, analytical and organizational ability, communication skills, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
