SpartanNash is hiring a Cashier at its Wauwatosa, Wisconsin location. The role operates cash registers and electronic scanners, processes cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, rain checks, voids, and coupons, weighs and bags customer purchases, merchandises check-stand items, maintains product identification and department standards, and provides courteous customer service. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with one year of prior retail or related experience; basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required. The position may require lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, standing and walking for extended periods, and exposure to varied store temperatures and outside weather. Visa sponsorship is not available.
