Orvis is seeking a Retail Guide to serve as a front-line retail guide in a fast-paced outdoor-adventure retail environment. The role involves creating a welcoming store atmosphere, acting as a brand ambassador, providing empathetic and customer-centric service, developing knowledge of Orvis products and services, suggesting products authentically, using omnichannel retail assets, maintaining store presentation and merchandising standards, handling merchandise, and following safety procedures. The position requires a friendly, relationship-oriented, entrepreneurial, and problem-solving approach, with computer skills and the ability to learn business programs; visual merchandising is a plus.
