The Retail Sales Associate serves as the face of Down To Earth, providing customer service, facilitating sales through product education, cashiering, phone answering, inventory stocking, merchandising, display maintenance, shoplifting observation, and store cleanliness. The role requires previous retail experience, a high school degree or equivalent, basic math and English skills, physical ability to stand and move 10–50 pounds, and availability for weekends and holidays. The position is based at the Eugene retail store and may work in the housewares, garden, or nursery departments.
