The Store Associate supports Ocean State Job Lot customers by operating a cash register, handling transactions, answering product questions, promoting loyalty and donation initiatives, maintaining displays, restocking merchandise, unloading deliveries, and keeping the store clean and safe. The role requires basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and verbal and written communication skills, and requires the ability to lift 35 pounds regularly. Compensation is $16–$16.75 per hour, with benefits including a 30% associate discount, paid time off, health and vision coverage, and retirement savings.
