Description
Cursive is hiring a full-time Rewinder Operator to slit, inspect, and rewind printed labels and shrink-sleeve packaging to customer specifications. The role involves setting up and operating slitting and rewinding equipment, adjusting cores, blades, tension, and web alignment, inspecting for defects, handling roll changes and splicing, packaging finished rolls, recording production data, performing basic maintenance, and troubleshooting minor mechanical and process issues. The position is based at the Mason, Ohio facility and offers 2nd-shift or weekend-shift openings, with strong preference for candidates available for those schedules. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while slitting, rewinding, or converting equipment experience is preferred; manufacturing or production machine operation experience may substitute for direct slitter experience.
