Description

The RF Modeling and Simulation Analyst supports the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, contributing to Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) superiority for the Department of Defense and allies. This role involves expert modeling and simulation support, impacting joint planning, OPLAN analysis, and NAVWAR operation execution. Key responsibilities include reverse-engineering signal processing solutions, developing RF solutions for airborne environments, performing HWIL testing, creating software algorithms for simulation, collaborating with stakeholders, and debugging validated capabilities.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in an engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering)
Required Previous Experiences: Research and Development Experience: Proven experience in researching and developing multi-function small form factor payloads for NAVWAR-based missions.
Algorithmic Modeling: Demonstrated ability to develop and analyze models of novel algorithmic concepts to produce distributed electronic sensing effects for NAVWAR payloads.
Leadership Experience: Prior leadership or management experience in higher-level roles, showcasing the ability to lead teams and projects effectively.
Relevant Experience: 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in NAVWAR, electronic warfare, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer License (PE): Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desired for senior-level positions.
Advanced Education: Master of Science (MS) degree in a related field of study (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering) is preferred.
