Description

Falcomm is hiring an RF Power Amplifier Design Engineer to design and develop RF power amplifiers for SATCOM, Wi-Fi, and cellular applications; integrate them into SoC systems; create and test prototypes; conduct design reviews; and support products from concept through mass production. The role requires an electrical engineering or related degree, at least three years of RF power amplifier design experience up to 60GHz, PA tapeout experience with SOI or SiGe technologies, and proficiency with semiconductor design and electromagnetic simulation tools. The position is full-time and on-site in Atlanta, Georgia, with an annual salary of $160,000-$225,000 and health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with an emphasis on RF/microwave integrated circuits design
Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of RF power amplifier design and development experience up to 60GHz
PA tapeout experience using SOI or SiGe technologies
Experience with IC layout, PEX extraction, electromigration analysis, and linear and nonlinear RF PA simulation
Experience with HFSS, Momentum, and EMX electromagnetic simulators
Knowledge of RF transceiver architectures, digital communication systems, spread spectrum, and modulation techniques
Preferred Qualifications: RF/microwave design experience in Ku, K, Ka, Q, or V-band frequency ranges
Familiarity with radio test equipment and hands-on RF testing and measurement experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting design issues
