Description
Northwood is hiring an RF Systems Architect to translate customer and network-level requirements into concrete RF and system architectures for ground-station products. The role defines antenna configurations, link performance, throughput, availability, and other system parameters; develops architectures using simulations, link budgets, and operational constraints; and partners with business development, customer engagements, and engineering leadership to align product direction and roadmaps. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 5–10+ years of systems engineering, solutions architecture, or technical product experience, and working knowledge of RF systems, ground stations, or satellite communications. Compensation ranges from $129,582 to $230,400 per year depending on the Solutions Architect level.
