Description
The RF Test Technician conducts RF measurements on various semiconductor components ranging from DC to 40 GHz, including amplifiers, switches, filters, mixers, multi-chip modules, and integrated microwave assemblies. This role involves completing tuning, moderating problem-solving, preparing test reports according to ATP, and potentially assisting in writing acceptance testing procedures. The technician also performs thermal, shock, vibration, and environmental tests, troubleshoots issues using various test equipment like bus analyzers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers, and sets up test equipment for production hardware under minimal supervision. Additionally, they may assist engineers with design and development activities, conduct manual and automated production tests, develop an understanding of RF component behavior, and occasionally perform surface mount assembly and rework.
