Description
DOCS Health is hiring an Optometry Technician to provide vision examinations and treatment to military service members in a fixed-clinic, mobile treatment center, telemedicine, or portable deployment setting. The role involves assisting with optometric procedures, taking patient histories, maintaining records, fitting frames, demonstrating lens care, repairing eyeglasses, and testing visual acuity and other ocular functions. The position primarily works weekends with occasional weekdays and requires at least one year of optometric or ophthalmic technician experience, experience with visual fields, OCTs, and fundus photography, computer proficiency, and personal transportation for site travel.
