Description
The Rig Hand supports the crew responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day operation of a drilling rig. Duties include general equipment maintenance, loading and off-loading pipe, rig movement, emergency response, pipe tripping, cutting and threading pipe, service maintenance, casing and tubing assistance, mud-sample and mud-property support, and maintaining work areas. The role requires knowledge of drill pipe, drill collars, thread types, tubing sizes, derricks, and the drill floor, along with the ability to travel and work a flexible schedule; a high school diploma or GED and CDL are preferred.
