Description
The Rigger prepares, inspects, selects, attaches, and dismantles rigging equipment; sets up lifts for heavy equipment, materials, and structures in oil and gas facilities; signals crane operators; coordinates with lifting teams; and assists with loading and unloading. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, rigging and lifting certification, 3–5 years of experience in rigging with a focus on oil and gas projects, heavy-machinery experience, knowledge of safety regulations and load charts, and the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
