Description
The Rigging Specialist aligns, levels, and anchors cranes; assembles and installs rigging, hoist, and pulling equipment; connects pulley and block systems; manipulates heavy loads; selects appropriate cables, gears, and shackles; signals workers; tests rigging; and maintains, stores, and cleans equipment. The role requires mechanical reasoning, math and measurement skills, schedule flexibility, travel, overtime availability, drug testing, a fit-for-duty assessment, and a background check, along with the ability to lift 75 pounds. An HS diploma or equivalent is required, while OSHA 10 is a plus.
