The Rigging Specialist aligns, levels, and anchors cranes; assembles and installs rigging, hoist, and pulling equipment; connects pulley and block systems; manipulates heavy loads; selects appropriate cables, gears, and shackles; signals workers; and tests rigging for safety. The role requires mechanical reasoning, math and measurement skills, schedule flexibility, travel, overtime availability, and the ability to lift 75 pounds, with an HS diploma or equivalent and OSHA 10 as a plus.
