Description
VIVA HEALTH is hiring a Senior Risk Adjustment Specialist to review medical records, assign accurate ICD-10-CM codes, support CMS risk-adjusted submissions, audit charts, identify clinical documentation improvement opportunities, train and mentor Risk Adjustment Specialists, and serve as an escalation point for complex coding and compliance issues. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 5–7 years of coding experience, AHIMA or AAPC certification, medical documentation interpretation, computer skills, customer service, and leadership abilities; college experience and hospital coding experience are preferred.
