HGL is hiring a Risk Assessor II to prepare human health and ecological risk assessments for environmental projects involving hazardous, toxic, radioactive, PFAS, mining, and military munitions response. The role analyzes environmental datasets, develops risk-based cleanup levels, interprets toxicological studies, supports remedial strategy design, and leads junior staff. It is a hybrid position based in one of five U.S. office locations, with a five-day work week and occasional fieldwork. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant environmental or health science discipline and at least six years of experience in environmental consulting or regulatory work on DoD or EPA projects. The annual salary is $83,895 to $125,843.
