Amazon is hiring an Automation Engineer for its Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at the IST2 Fulfillment Center in Istanbul. The role maintains and optimizes automated material-handling systems, including tote sorters, conveyors, Ambaflex spirals, PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and industrial control systems; responds to breakdowns; performs root-cause analysis; leads upgrades, installations, and commissioning; develops technical documentation; and mentors technicians. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, at least two years of PLC programming and troubleshooting experience, material-handling equipment experience, electrical-system knowledge, and English proficiency.
