Description
Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital is hiring a full-time RN Case Manager/Utilization Review to review medical records for appropriateness of level of care, insurance and managed-care reviews, admission suitability, and discharge planning. The role collaborates with physicians, nurses, patients, families, and external agencies; documents utilization-review activity; coordinates post-hospital resources; and helps improve clinical services. Candidates need current Texas RN licensure or MSW, at least two years of medical or psychiatric case management or utilization experience, and at least three years of acute-care experience. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
