Description
The Registered Nurse provides coordinated care for individual or assigned groups of patients, follows the nursing process, and supervises nursing staff. The role coordinates care with other disciplines, delegates appropriately, participates in discharge planning, and provides health information to patients, families, and treatment teams. A BSN and acute-care experience are preferred, while RN licensure, CPR or BLS certification, and AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certifications are required.
