Description
The role provides coordinated nursing care for individual or assigned groups of patients, follows established standards and the nursing process, and supervises nursing staff while coordinating with other disciplines. It requires RN licensure, CPR or BLS certification, and several additional life-support and patient-safety certifications; a BSN and acute-care experience are preferred. The position also involves assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, discharge planning, patient and family education, and delegation.
