Description
The Registered Nurse provides coordinated care for individual or assigned groups of patients, follows the nursing process, and supervises and directs nursing staff. The role coordinates care with other disciplines, develops and implements care plans, evaluates patient outcomes, collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, supports discharge planning, delegates duties, and performs other assigned responsibilities. A BSN and acute-care experience are preferred, while RN licensure, CPR or BLS certification, and ACLS certification are required.
