Beacon Behavioral Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for PRN AM and PM shifts at its Bunkie inpatient facility. The role includes charge nursing, supervision of LPNs, CNAs, and Mental Health Technicians, treatment-program development, medication support, liaison work with medical staff, performance improvement, and role modeling. Applicants must hold a Louisiana RN license, a nursing degree or diploma focused on psychiatric care, at least two years of nursing experience including one year with mentally ill patients or documented supervision from a Master’s-prepared psychiatric nurse, Basic Life Support certification, and non-violent crisis intervention certification.
