Description
The role provides overall supervision of the organization in collaboration with and in the absence of the administrative or executive team, makes administrative decisions, ensures patient and staff safety, and oversees hospital operations. It supervises nursing and ancillary personnel, manages staffing and bed placement, coordinates patient transfers and discharges, responds to acute unit codes and medical emergencies, supports interdisciplinary care planning, and maintains quality and regulatory compliance. The position requires RN licensure, CPR or BLS certification, ACLS certification, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent education and experience; a master’s degree, five years of technical experience, and critical-care experience are preferred.
