Description
The Critical Care Nurse provides and directs primary nursing care for patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular health deficits, including complex multisystem care, unstable patients, and complex care management. The role requires clinical assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, problem-solving, and unit leadership, including charge-nurse duties, committee work, orientation, and education. It requires a nursing degree, New Jersey nursing licensure, BLS certification, and two years of critical-care nursing experience; a BSN is preferred. The position offers 36 biweekly hours on a 7 p.m.–7 a.m. shift and a minimum starting rate of $47.08.
