Description
The O.R. Staff Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum in the Surgical Services Department and coordinates care planning with other disciplines. The role may serve as a scrub, circulating, or float nurse in the operating room and includes rotations to PACU, the outpatient endoscopy unit, and Central Service, along with call duty and other assigned duties. Candidates must graduate from an accredited nursing school, hold a current California RN license, and obtain required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; CNOR, PANAC, and AAOPU credentials are preferred.
