Description
Meritus Medical Center is hiring an RN for its 32-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit on an as-needed basis. The role provides evidence-based nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the postpartum period; monitors maternal and fetal status; administers medications; supports delivery procedures; collaborates with physicians and midwives; and educates new mothers on infant care, breastfeeding, and recovery. The position requires a current Maryland RN license or compact-state eligibility, an ASN, BLS and NRP certification, and preferably previous L&D, postpartum, or women’s health experience.
