Description
The role is a unit-level Registered Nurse leadership position responsible for scheduling, leading, and coordinating daily activities on an assigned shift; supervising nursing and ancillary personnel; supporting patient safety, quality, compliance, staffing, discharge, and emergency preparedness; and collaborating with physicians, charge nurses, and other department leaders. It requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification, with a bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent education/experience, and prefers a master's degree, five years of technical experience, one year of leadership experience, and two years of acute-care hospital experience.
