Description
The Registered Nurse performs professional nursing functions by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; coordinating, managing, providing, and delegating care; and meeting standards of nursing practice. The role includes patient assessments, medication administration, discharge planning, emergency response, documentation, infection control, staff education, and accurate charge documentation. It requires graduation from a school of nursing, one year of recent acute care RN experience, a current RN license, and Basic Life Support certification.
