Description
The role provides coordinated nursing care for individual or assigned groups of patients, follows established standards and the nursing process, and supervises and directs nursing staff. It coordinates care with other disciplines, analyzes assessment data, develops and implements care plans, evaluates patient outcomes, collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, supports discharge planning, delegates duties, and provides health information. The position requires RN licensure in the state of practice, CPR or BLS certification, and AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification; a BSN and acute-care facility experience are preferred.
