Description
The role provides coordinated nursing care for individual or assigned groups of patients, follows established standards and the nursing process, and supervises and directs nursing staff. It also coordinates care with other disciplines, delegates duties, participates in discharge planning, and provides health information to patients, families, and treatment teams. The position requires RN licensure, CPR or BLS certification, and AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certifications; a BSN and acute-care experience are preferred.
