Description
The Med/Surg Registered Nurse role provides general medical-surgical care across all patient populations, including congestive heart failure, diabetes, post-surgical, trauma, acute kidney injury, sickle cell anemia, gastroparesis, and respiratory illnesses. Responsibilities include titrating heparin drips, monitoring patients, supporting respiratory equipment use, and serving as an educator and manager for the unit. The role requires BLS certification, with ACLS required for charge RNs, and offers 12-hour shifts, floating among Med/Surg units, and rotating holiday coverage.
