Description
The Critical Care Nurse provides and directs primary nursing care for patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular health deficits, including complex multisystem care, unstable patients, and complex care management. The role performs comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation; uses clinical problem-solving; and may assume unit leadership responsibilities such as charge nursing, committee work, orientation, and education. It requires a nursing degree, New Jersey nursing licensure, BLS certification, and preferred ACLS and PALS credentials, with a 72-hour per pay-period 7 P–7 A shift and a minimum starting rate of $47.08.
