Description
The Registered Nurse provides individualized nursing care to patients of all ages in a 12-hour day-shift role that floats across all areas of Perioperative Services. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, physician coordination, patient and family education, documentation, equipment use, emergency response, and regulatory compliance. The role requires a current or compact Iowa Registered Nurse license, Basic Life Support certification within six weeks of hire, mandatory reporter abuse training within three months of hire, and English-language proficiency.
