Description
The Emergency Department is an eight-bed ER with two trauma bays, a triage room, a mental health room, and an infusion center next door. It treats adults and children, including critical pediatric patients, and handles trauma, CVA, STEMI, sepsis, and other emergencies. The unit is staffed by two RNs 24/7 at a 1:4 ratio, with additional CNA support during summer and a charge nurse supporting the hospital, emergency department, medical-surgical, and obstetric units. Required experience includes two years in a similar-sized facility, hands-on trauma, CVA, STEMI, and sepsis experience, and critical pediatric care; BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP certifications are required, while Epic experience is strongly preferred. Shifts are 0700–1930 and 1900–0730, with weekend and holiday rotations and no call requirement.
