Description
The Ambulatory Surgery RN provides perioperative care to patients undergoing surgery by coordinating patient arrival and room scheduling, circulating in the operating room, directing nursing activities, assisting operative teams with aseptic technique, monitoring patient condition, preparing instruments, handling specimens and contaminated materials, counting supplies, and maintaining equipment and quality-improvement standards. The role is per diem and scheduled as needed, with start times between 6:15 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.; same-day surgery experience is preferred.
