HDR is hiring a Roadway Engineer in Knoxville, Tennessee to provide technical and program-level support to a Department of Transportation client. The role includes quality acceptance reviews of roadway design plans, compliance checks against DOT design guidelines and project requirements, roadway design and plan development support, consultant oversight, project coordination, and administrative activities. A bachelor's degree, professional engineering license, roadway engineering experience, CAD software proficiency, and strong communication skills are required; a Tennessee Professional Engineer license and experience with transportation design are preferred.
