Volkert is hiring an experienced Roadway Engineer to support its Mid Atlantic Region in Springfield or Virginia Beach, Virginia. The role involves roadway design, plan quantities and engineering estimates, construction specifications, project design leadership, coordination with subconsultants and clients, and delivery of transportation and civil design projects. Applicants need a BS in Civil Engineering, 5–10 years of relevant roadway design experience, FE certification, and proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer; VDOT experience and PE certification are preferred.
